Özet
The purpose of this volume was to highlight narratives from educators worldwide, emphasizing geographical contexts beyond the US as well as underrepresented institutional settings and levels. The present volume reports on non-English second language (L2) teaching practices in a variety of settings, including both second and foreign language contexts. It includes narratives of teachers teaching the following languages: Arabic, Catalan, French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Yiddish. The contexts presented in this book include Germany, Romania, Türkiye, the UK, and the US. The chapters in this volume report on teaching in university settings, an annual international intensive summer language program, a military/government setting, and a community group. The volume also addresses World Language instruction for students at a range of proficiency levels.
